Collaborate

We are committed to building feminist, creative, and transdisciplinary coalitions that actively challenge inequities and create meaningful change across all areas of practice involving music and sound technologies. Together, we work to address barriers, share knowledge, and imagine new possibilities.

We invite researchers, artists, technologists, educators, activists, and music stakeholders to join us in improving access and representation for women, LGB, trans, and non-binary people, and in fostering a safer, more inclusive sound culture.

Allies

Our work is strengthened by a community of allies—individuals, organisations, and initiatives who share our commitment to equity in music and sound technologies. These connections bring fresh perspectives and help us turn ideas into action.

Here we acknowledge and celebrate those we collaborate with and those who support the project, from local initiatives to international networks.

Collective Commitment

We invite individuals and organisations to make a commitment to equity, access, and representation in music and sound technologies. Women, LGB, trans, and non-binary people remain underrepresented in music creation, performance, production, and distribution. Structural and cultural barriers have shaped this imbalance, and we are committed to challenging them through our work, practice, and platforms.

Collaboration—across research, artistic practice, technology, education, and activism—is key to building safer, more inclusive creative futures. As allies, we stand in solidarity with those working to transform who shapes, designs, and participates in music and sound technologies.

By joining as an ally, you:

– Share GTP’s commitment to equity and inclusion
– Support our research, events, and advocacy
– Amplify underrepresented voices in music and sound technology
